I recorded this sound back in 2002. We had this sweeper cleaner thing where i worked and this is the sound it made when pushed from the worn out gears.

The notes used in this performance should be the same notes used in the original game's sound (unconfirmed) detuned a few cents upward. Recorded in stereo from inside a plastic watering pot with zoom q8. Pitched down. The toaster is touching the pot, so it can deliver vibrations after the "pop-up mechanism".

Mountain-bike gear-change shifter.

I was looking for a sound in which a few high-pitched bells could be heard together with the spinning gears of the striking mechanism. I couldn't find a sound like that, so i made my own. The two bells are from a sample user 'nemodaedalus' uploaded (wuc_bell_high_and_low. Wav). I recorded the spinning gears myself. The sound comes from a 1920's junghans clock i saved out of a dumpster. It's pretty much broken, except for the striking mechanism.

Very noisy rusty gears on my bicycle, before removing the bike chain for cleaning and oiling. Lots of clicking and mechanical noises. Recorded on a sony px470 dictaphone.

This is a bunch of sounds from bending and moving soft equipment. It was used to create audio for the movement of some geared-up police operators in a game.
